An Afternoon of Self-Care with Nancy, Erin, Gemma, and Ash

Join Nancy, Erin, Gemma, and Ash for a relaxing and rejuvenating afternoon of self-care featuring self-massage, plant medicine, gentle stretching, and sound healing.

Nancy Perez will provide an overview and demonstration of non-invasive manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques to support detoxification, boost the immune system and accelerate healing. Guasha/massage stones will be provided for guided self-massage. Nancy is a Respiratory Therapist, Integrative Medical Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor She holds a Science Degree in Clinical Physiology and Psychology.

Erin Gomez will offer a demonstration of the exfoliating, relaxing ritual of dry-brushing for self-care. Each participant will receive a dry-brush so that we can practice this nurturing technique together. Erin will also share some basic principles of toxicology, provide lifestyle tips on reducing exposure to harmful substances, and explain the role of plant medicine in supporting wellness. A custom tea blend will be available to enjoy for the day, and take-home tea samples will be provided. Erin possesses a BS in Biology and an MS in Environmental Health Sciences. Her background includes hazardous substances management, ecological studies, and human health advocacy, and various aspects of sustainability management.

Gemma Farrell will guide a gentle stretching session that incorporates mindfulness and loving kindness practices to open body, heart, and mind to the fullness of the present moment. Gemma is a Yoga and Meditation Instructor.

Ash Shea will offer a deeply relaxing sound bath, where the calming vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other healing instruments will guide you into a peaceful meditative state. This immersive experience is designed to help release stress, restore balance, and promote inner healing. Ash is a Yoga Instructor and a certified practitioner of sound healing and vibrational therapies.

Please dress comfortably and bring your own yoga mat. The studio will provide some blocks and blankets, but we encourage you to bring any additional items—cushions, extra blankets, or whatever will help you feel most comfortable during the workshop.

Dry-Brushes, Guasha Stones, and Tea Samples are included in the workshop fee.
